mouthed feelings
January 8, 2008
im tired of trying with you
its like a game of tug-o-war
im tired of puling on that old frayed rope
its giving me splinters
im better off without you
your worries wont worry me
the secrets are out and im glad
i dont need to hear your whispers
shes your new love to love
hold her close and think of me
kiss her lips and taste my mouth
i hope you love her more
erase your memory of me
throw away pictures and keep sakes
our time is over, no more to treasure
but, trust me, you’ll remember my mouth
No memory remains when you pass by me
but a stinging remembrance washes over me
your face beside mine as an image
only in my mind i assume
If I dont speak up you wont know
your face, so familiar to me
knowing I know you
my mouth opens slowly to speak
A faint grunt comes from yours
the luscious lips of the devil
Your familiarity with them
as you pull me closer
pressing your lips to mine once again
knowing the wrong wont be undone
but then again
who knows wrong when nothing is spoken
You wont have to worry
My lips are sealed.
